Hart Athletic Performance Fall Updates
I’m sure plenty of you have noticed too that Adrianne’s roll at the gym has changed this summer. In lieu of a weekly class at Harts she will be offering workshops and lectures on Nutrition, Weight Cutting, Kettlebells, Mobility and Speed. She thrives in these settings where she can dig a little deeper into the knowledge, tweak the form, explain nuances, answer questions and teach from her experience. So keep on the lookout for announcements.

Some of you have been taking advantage of the Team Conditioning series this summer and we’re happy to announce the continuation of this series into the fall. Coach Joe Schengrund has programmed a twice weekly 45 min conditioning series which will continue to run on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:15 pm. This is a great way to target some correctives and easily overlooked areas of particular concern for the combat athlete and increase your metabolic conditioning.
Yoga for Everyone!
Additionally Dynamic Yoga on Thursday with Caroline is now a 45 minute session from 5 to 5:45. This class is open to Basic and Advanced members of Hart BJJ and MMA as well as parents of children in our Mini and Youth BJJ program. No experience or yoga mat necessary.
What are people saying about Hart Athletic Performance?
“The Hart Athletic Performance program is amazing! The coaches are knowledgeable and supportive. The program is fun, and appropriately challenging. I had a major surgery that left me in excruciating pain for years. The coaches’ expertise helped me come back with a vengeance. My doctors have been very happy with how well I am doing, and it is all thanks to the great coaches and supportive team at Hart’s. Thank you!”
“When I think of what an all inclusive BJJ gym would look like it, I think of the following: Fundamental training and drilling, advanced training to build off those concepts, classes that dive into other areas of martial arts, conditioning opportunities, and functional strength training programs designed to improve athletic performance. I’m confident that every day I walk into Hart’s Performance, I’ll be tasked with specific challenged aimed at improving my overall athletic pursuit in becoming a better martial art practitioner. Hart’s Athletic Performance is a place where everyone can get something out of it. From the person looking to get into shape to the person looking to continue their athletic endeavors.”
“Before joining HAP, I had never done a squat or a dead lift and wasn’t really interested in weight training, but now it’s a highlight of my week. The instructors are great at tailoring every workout to each individual’s skill level.”
