We at Hart BJJ and MMA are dedicated to providing you with a clean training environment but it’s everyones responsibility and we need your help.
Do not train if you have a virus, infection or fungus.
Stomach bugs, colds and flus will be circulating as the kids get back to school. Please be free of fever or vomiting for 24 hours prior to returning to class.
All skin conditions must be treated and no longer contagious before you can return to class. Taping over a skin infection is not acceptable. Broken skin should be cleaned and covered, training with an open wound is not acceptable.
Learn to identify athletes foot, ringworm, staph infections and MRSA and do not train until you are free of infection. If you’re not sure, error on the side of caution and refrain from contact with others.
Be sure your finger and toe nails are trimmed and hands and feet are clean. Come to class clean and freshened up.
Make sure your uniform and training clothes are laundered. Wear a rash guard, even underneath the Gi. Wear sandals or other footwear when off the mat.
ALWAYS wear shoes in the restroom.
Shower yourself as soon as possible when you’re finished training. Inspect yourself for skin irritations and infections. If you suspect you may have an infection or fungus, notify Harts and seek medical attention.
Wash your training clothes promptly after every use.
Do not leave sweaty clothing, gear or braces in your gym bag or your car.
Dry and sanitize your equipment. Gym bags, mouth guards, shin guards, ear guards, gloves etc.
PLEASE, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR GEAR AT THE ACADEMY!
